Intake Process:

The first step in getting started is to complete an Initial Inquiry Form. Once we receive that form, we will contact each party to complete the Intake Process. 

After completing all paperwork and all fees are paid, you will then be assigned a tutor who will work with you and your child based on your availability and your needs.

 

FEES FOR SERVICES MUST BE PAID IN ADVANCE  BY  DEBIT OR CREDIT CARDS.

MISSED APPOINTMENTS OR APPOINTMENTS CANCELED WITH LESS THAN 24 HOUR NOTICE ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. 

 

If at anytime you need to increase or decrease your amount of session days or hours, please contact the office immediately so arrangements can be made. 

Tutoring sessions are available seven days a week.

Administrative hours are from 9:00 to 5:00 Monday through Friday.

  • Current Drivers License or State ID (Custodial and Non-Custodial

  • Signed Court Order/Minute Entry (If applicable)

Registration Fee: $100 (non-refundable)  (Due at start of intake)

 

Tutoring Hourly Rates: $60 per hour (2 hours per session minimum)

 

Session Cancellation/No Shows/Early End Time:

Scheduled sessions that are not cancelled within 24 hours, no shows or sessions that end before scheduled time are non-refundable. Make-up visits will still be charged the normal rate if not cancelled within 24 hours.

If required notice is given, you will receive a credit toward the next visit.

 

Holiday Rates:

Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Easter, July 4th and Thanksgiving will be double the Normal rate.

 

FAQ

What is the minimum time to work with a tutor?

We schedule students for two hour sessions. Students must come for tutoring a minimum of once per week. We feel it is best to schedule our students to see the tutor the same day(s)/times each week. There is no contract to sign so you can receive tutoring for as long as you would like.

What if I don’t want the tutor to come to my home?

On occasion, the hustle and bustle of family life does not equal an ideal learning environment.

Our tutors are happy to meet at a local library or recreation center, as long as it is a safe and quiet place for everyone.

If in home, we require that an adult chaperone be present for all tutoring sessions for children under the age of 18.

How do you ensure quality tutors?

Our tutors are extraordinary! We have extremely high confidence in them, and they are rigorously screened.

Some of our tutors are licensed teachers, some of whom currently teach and others who no longer teach in a school. Most of our other tutors all have a college degree in the content area, but all will have previous experience as tutors.

 

We custom fit each tutor with your child’s specific needs and keep in touch with you throughout the process in case any fine tuning is needed.
